Saratoga Springs, NY is a delightful small town with quiet streets, a dog-friendly downtown, and plenty of parks and nature preserves. I live in a very safe, quiet neighborhood in the center of town, and from my front door dogs can head out on walks long and short. Beyond that, nature trails and mountain hikes begin as close as a five-minute car ride. There is no end to what your dog will be able to see, sniff, and pee on! I also provide in-house care and sitting. In fact, most of my business involves staying at clients' homes. The animals love their vay-stay! My rates are the same, although I may charge a mileage fee if the distance is longer than 50 miles from my home. About this sitter: I love animals! I grew up with a wonderful Irish Setter, Molly, and as an adult I've been blessed with three amazing dogs, Yellow Labs Dooley and Chumley, and a Miniature Schnauzer named Ashton. Each had his own very unique personality! I loved them dearly. Now, for the first time in almost 30 years, I am without a dog of my own. But the dogs I walk and sit for regularly have become part of my family, and I've become part of theirs! Everything I know about dogs, and about so much more, I learned from them.
