Pet care experience
Hi! I have been taking care of dogs & cats since I was little. As an adult, I have lived with numerous cats & dogs that I have had the honor of caring for while their parents went on trips out of town for days to weeks! I currently have two rescue dogs with my partner - a 45lb bossy-cuddler named Luanne and a 77lb sweet, shy girlie named Sheeba!

Mary Jean provided exceptional care to our sensitive rescue mix. We were scrambling to find someone who could house sit on short notice when we reached out to MJ, who responded promptly and professionally. She communicated regularly over the weekend with updates, both texts and photos--our pup clearly had a great time with her and our house was in amazing shape when we arrived home. I highly, highly recommend!!

I have a fenced in yard at my home that I am able to let dogs out in through out the day. I also provide my dogs with a walk in the morning and a longer walk in the afternoon for exercise and lots of good sniffs!

A typical day
I love going on nature walks with dogs (the Northampton trail along with Mills River is amazing) and dog parks if approved by you (South Hadley has lots of fun visitors and smells)! I play tug of war and fetch and am happy to set up treat puzzle toys for the doggos to work out! With cats I love to play with the feather toys and watch them hunt it - the stalk and the frantic chase!

Availability
I currently am working part time (3xweek) with a varying schedule. Usually a shift will be between 6-8 hours. If your pets can make it 6-8 hours some days, I’m sure we can work something out!
