Love dogs more than people
Pet care experience
I have always had dogs in my life. I have two at present and have cared for puppies right through to senior dogs and even end of life care. I walk my dogs twice a day and spoil them in between.
Reviews
Mary has looked after my rescue dog for me on numerous occasions now. Whilst the care and attention she provides is nothing like the care I give to him being his doggy mummy! I honestly could not find a better second home for him to stay at. Mary even recently solved my dogs digestive issues and he came home to me with the best stools I’ve ever seen him have! The photos I get when she’s looking after him are not necessary but they are appreciated and they show him having fun at his holiday home instead of just kidding me. My dog always enjoys playing with Mary’s two dogs (they are just the cutest friendliest dogs you could meet). I almost feel bad whee we n I take him home again. If you want a second home feel instead of a kennels and you want to rest assured your dog is being looked after as one of the family! Then don’t hesitate to book with Mary. You won’t be disappointed, but your pooch might be when you go home 😉

I have a reasonable sized garden which is completely fenced in. I work in a cabin at the bottom of the garden and this has 4 dog beds and a filtered water bowl in… oh and Air Conditioning in the summer months. I also have dog beds in the house… two in the bedroom… but they generally sleep on my bed… and 3 in the lounge… The fur babies have fresh roast chicken breast for breakfast then a meal around 3.30pm and a kong filled with roast chicken breast at bed time. I dehydrate my own treats… so they have chicken, ham and a special recipe of sweet potato with bell peppers and chicken. This way I know what they are eating. I don’t trust shop bought treats because these have too many additives.

Information Mary J. would like to know about your pet
Please inform me of any unique qualities your dog has that I should be aware of. Such as very old, poor eye sight, deafness, dementia, needs medication, feels anxious when walking, not keen on cuddles etc etc
A typical day
First thing… 20min walk followed by minced chicken breast (cooked) free play in garden or house or rest using various dog beds available in various rooms. 15.30-16.00 main meal. Then human interactive play. Consisting of ball games or puzzle games. Then rest time. For the dogs and Me… Feet up lol. 20.00 second walk min of 20 minutes. Walks are taken in various places including but not restricted to Chantry Park, Alton Water, Manningtree Woods, and Felixstowe promenade. Then back for another rest… bedtime between 22.00 and 00.00 when all dogs get a long filled with minced chicken breast. So they can just burn that last bit of energy before sleep. All dogs have a choice of where they sleep. There are various dog beds… you can bring your own… or they can share my double bed… which apparently is the preferred choice x

Availability
I am self employed so am home all the time. The dogs are never left on their own and have lots of toys, a paddling pool and get lots of attention. They can even use the swimming pool if they so desire… under supervision of course.
