Pet care experience
Hi! Please read the whole profile and, if you message me please address me, Mary, so I know you meant to message me. Rover sends multiple messages to several other sitters on your behalf and I like to know you want to book with me, and I’m not receiving messages meant for other people. I have 24 years of professional pet sitting experience am registered business with the state of Kentucky and I am a former veterinary technician with a wealth of knowledge on all things dog related. My husband and I provide a loving and fun environment for all dogs. I am a full-time petsitter/ owner of Mamas Pet Services LLC and the primary caregiver to all of our guest. This means I am home throughout the day and they have my undivided attention. My main goal for all of our guest and personal animals is that everyone is happy, healthy, and most importantly safe! Our guest dogs are treated like a part of our family and frequent trips outside in our large fenced in yard. I know traveling without your beloved pet can be stressful, so we try to make it as easy as possible for everyone involved to have a wonderful experience. I love dogs and spending time with them is my calling! If you have any questions, please message me! **** Preferable drop off/pick ups times between 7:30a-9a & 4p-7p Monday-Friday. Drop off and pick up times on the weekend will be 8a-10a or 6-7p. There will be a daycare fee of $20 charged for pick ups after noon on pick up days. There is also a fee for Late pick ups, after 7pm and will be a charge an additional $5-$10 depending on requested times. I can be flexible, but want to stick with these times as much as possible.**** *****If you have booked with me in the past and it says I'm booked please message/text me**** **** Vaccinations are VERY important to keep your pet happy and healthy, and to help protect my personal pets and our guest. As a former veterinary technician I understand the protocol for vaccination and if your vet has an extended vaccine protocol I will still accept your pet. I will require puppies to have their vaccines and if they are in the middle of their series that is ok. If your pet has an illness or is of a certain age and can't not receive vaccinations I will consider accepting your pet. I also can not accept any pet if they have been boarded at a commercial boarding facility for 14 days after they leave that environment due to contagious diseases most of them are exposed too. If you have any questions please message me. *****All dogs are expected to have flea\tick medication and preferably also on a heartworm preventive, any dog with parasites will be refused. ****** I will only accept spayed and neutered dogs over the age of 8months, puppies are ok if not fixed yet.
Reviews
I’m absolutely one of those people who are obsessed with their dog. So I literally put off a trip for seven years because I was anxious about leaving Whisper. She is deaf and super anxious. I didn’t want her to be scared or think I was abandoning her. So basically Mary was presented with a highly anxious dog AND a highly anxious human. And she managed both of our anxiety with a calm and kindness that left me confident Whisper would be in great hands. Whisper took amazing care of Whisper (and me 😆) so I was actually able to enjoy vacation. I highly recommend Mary. You can be confident your baby will be happy and loved while you are away.
Mary took wonderful care of our Pup while we were away on vacation! Communication was excellent and Mary always sent pictures and updates letting us know how he was doing. We will absolutely use Mary again in the future!
Mary was really sweet and our dogs seemed happy in the photos provided. They must have had a good time because they are sleepy now! Great communication from Mary. We will definitely be re-booking if we need an overnight stay.
Mary provided a wonderful boarding experience for my Cooper, She sent consistent updates with pictures. Will definitely schedule with her again

We are aware of the “new” dog disease and are taking precautions for the safety of our guest these precautions include taking dog temperatures, updated air ventilation systems, extra cleaning, multiple dog bowls and cleaning every hour, and not accepting guest that have been to the groomer or commercial boarding facilities within the last 14 days of a planned stay. I have a large fenced in yard only adults in the home and most of all the entrances have a two door barrier to prevent accidental escapes. Cat boarding offered completely separate from dog boarding. Can board up to three cats from one household at a time, and only board one household of cat(s) at one time.

I require all dogs are up to date on basic vaccination (dhpcp, bordetella, rabies) spayed and or neutered ( if old enough) and I highly recommend that they are on a heart worm preventative, but the flea medication is mandatory. My dogs receive a monthly dose of Advantage Multi, which protects them from heart worms, fleas, roundworms, hookworms and whip worms. All breeds under 80lbs are welcome and I am very comfortable with most types of dogs.We can always arrange a meet and greet prior to any stay which allows us to answer any questions and make sure they will have the best stay possible, and also can answer any personal questions/concerns.
A typical day
I provided lots of love and attention and try to cater to each dogs individual needs. Most guest have fun playing with the other dogs, chewing on toys and exploring our large back yard. I let them out every 1-2 hours depending on the weather and on nice days we sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.
