Pet care experience
Hello! As a proud pug owner, I've had experience caring for dogs for 15+years. Our family’s first pug, Olivia, passed away a few years ago and my parents now own two other pugs, Coco (8) and Roxy (4). I help out/hang out with Coco and Roxy frequently and adopted my very own pug, Maggie. Maggie is blind and has some hydrocephalus but she is a fun, happy-go-lucky girl! During dog sitting jobs, my husband is able to take care of Maggie for me so I can stay devoted to caring for the dog I’m hired to watch. In addition to my own dogs, I have experience dog-sitting for other families through Rover and other sites, my church, and friends.

Second time hiring Mary and very happy! We used her a year ago and I liked the experience so much that when we went to take another vacation she was the first person I had in mind to check in with. Asked her to do a few other small things like watering a plant and she agreed no issues! And the pictures she sends are cute/funny :)

If a dog needs any special medications or care instructions. I’d also like to know if there’s a cat in the house since I have allergies. I can take medication, and provide care for cats, but it’s just good to know before hand!
A typical day
When pet-sitting, I can take dogs on a walk around the neighborhood or nearby park, enjoy snuggling on the couch, or playing with them with their toys.

Availability
I am transitioning to being a stay at home mom, so I have no set work schedule. As long as a job is within reasonable distance to my home and my husband is able to assist with child care, I can get out of the house for pet check ins and overnights.
