Work From Home Family on a Farm!
Pet care experience
We live in a large home on a 3.5 acre small farm in Tucker near intersection of 78/285. My husband Adam is home 90% of the time, my teen daughters homeschool, and our housemates are often home and love the dogs, so your baby will almost never be alone and will get tons of love and exercise. I’m a teacher and am home by 3:30 most days. Our three kids are all teens and are great with the dogs who visit. We only take up to three dogs at a time (usually only two). We keep our home tidy and safe and will carefully follow your care instructions. We are the ideal home for a house-trained, family-friendly dog that doesn’t bark, does well on a leash, and doesn’t run far if he/she slips out. (Yes, we are picky :) We recently had some dogs who were house-trained at home but had constant accidents at our home...this was a bit stressful, so we'd prefer to only take dogs who have stayed with others before and been able to maintain good house-training habits. Our two indoor/outdoor cats are used to visitors, so as long as your dog is safe for our cats and won’t bark at them constantly, they'll do great together! We have enjoyed watching dogs for family and friends for years. We send owners frequent pictures and detailed updates. If it is ok with you, our kids will want your dog to sleep with them in their beds. Your baby will love it here, and you will have peace of mind while you are away. If by chance two dogs are not doing well together, our house is large enough to keep them in separate areas. This is rarely needed. Our fenced yard is not attached to the house. It is a fenced area behind lit house we can easily see all of from Adam’s office window and the kitchen window, so if you want your dog to have extended outdoor time, we can put him/her out there and do frequent visual checks easily to see how they are doing. We live at the end of a very safe street in the back of a beautiful, older neighborhood. We love taking the dogs for walks if they are good on a leash. All dogs are taken out for potty breaks every 3-4 hours.
Reviews
Communicates well. Accommodating to the needs of my pup.
Such a pleasant experience. U know ur dog was treated well when he acts conflicted on if he is ready to leave. I will definitely use them again.
After having a previous bad experience leaving our Daisy with someone when we were out of town, we were wary to do it again. However, Mary and her family treated Daisy like she was their own. They sent regular updates and pictures/videos, ensuring we knew she was alright. 5 stars for sure!
DO NOT BOOK! Terrible sitter. Tried to pawn my dogs off on another rover sitter just a few hours after I dropped them off while I was out of town. Pretty sure she drugged my dog after I told her NOT to. My baby slept for 2 days after leaving her care!!! Did not follow rover policies at all! Also, She’s not home. Her bio is a lie. Her husband and kids watched my dogs. Or not actually. Again do not book! Not sure who all these reviews are from. But this was the worst experience ever with Rover in all the years I’ve used this app! I wish I could get the money back I had to pay her for the time my babies spent there. I had to transfer my pets to a prior sitter, while I was gone, I’ve used in the past who had zero problems. I hope nobody else ever has to deal with this.

It's important for us to know that you dog is house-trained, doesn't bark hardly at all, is great with kids and other dogs, and will not attack our two cats.
A typical day
We live in a great neighborhood for walks and have a large yard at the end of a long, safe street.. We enjoy play time and snuggle time with the dogs throughout the day, and if your dog likes to go on adventures, we will take him/her with us when we go out.

We are up by 6 on weekdays and by 8 on weekends and holidays. We take the dogs out when we wake up and do a walk of the dog likes to be walked. Plenty of interaction throughout the day when my husband and daughters are taking breaks from their work/schoolwork. When I get home from my teaching job around 3, i often take dogs for a walk when the weather is nice. Usually tv snuggles and play time in the evenings.
