Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life- from birds to cats to fish to dogs to turtles...I’ve cared for and loved them all. I have done extensive volunteer work with rescue organizations in the past as well and I’m familiar with appropriate interactions with aggressive or scared dogs, how to care for puppies and new moms, as well as general care of dogs, cats, reptiles and rodents. I have 2 dogs of my own- a 5 year old staffordshire terrier named Cilantro and a 8 month old Cane Corso named Miss Lady.

Mary is wonderful! We have three large dogs (two mastiffs and a pit bull) that can be very intimidating. Mary has been so great with them and from the very first introduction they were happy to meet her and they get excited to see her every time she comes. We have tried other pet sitters previously that did not work out. We are so grateful to have found her.
Mary is a caring and responsible dog lover/owner/sitter. She will make sure that your pup is happy, healthy, and fed! She has years of experience will various types of dogs and can handle the biggest of puppy (personalities). She took great care of my large stubborn ridgeback/pitbull mix and would be a great person to hire as a dog sitter.
Mary is an amazing sitter! I had to leave town for two days on emergency leave and she volunteered to watch my Xena for me. Upon coming back and every time Xena sees Mary, she gets beyond happy to see her and rushes to greet her with an opportunity to rub her belly! In my eyes everything must have went smooth!
Mary is not on a kind soul, but an amazing and responsible dog owner. She has provided care for our family dog, Rain, and always went above and beyond to make sure she was cared for & comfortable, as well as keep the family updated. She is very comfortable with larger dogs, & that was important to us. 10/10 would recommend!!

A typical day
For in home check ups, I will do whatever it is that your pet is used to- whether it needs to be fed , let outside, brought inside, crated, etc. in addition, I always include some kind of play- with toys, balls, or simply chasing or wrestling , and lots of scratches, rubs and cuddles.

I am a fully disabled veteran with a lot of free time on my hands. My only stipulation is that your dogs must be friendly around children as I have a son who may accompany me sometimes.
