Pet care experience
Hello there! I have loved dogs my whole life, and my passion for their happiness and well-being is what inspires me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I volunteer at the San Francisco SPCA and I am trained in basic dog handling, walking, socialization, and training techniques. I was drawn to Rover initially because I have experience dog sitting for friends and family, in both single and multiple dog households. While I was in college I found myself needing some serious “puppy time” to help me unwind and spend time with the dogs in the neighborhood. I have been a dog sitter on Rover for a few years now, so I am confident in this process and I have the experience necessary to keep your pets healthy, happy, and safe. I grew up with a Golden Retriever so they will always have a special place in my heart, but I love all breeds, big or small! Before sitting a dog, I would like to know about any allergies, aversions, or behavioral issues. If your dog is afraid of skateboards or has any special dietary needs, I would like to know right away so I can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your pet. In the event of an emergency, I would like to have the name and contact number for an emergency contact (if you are not available) and information on your regular vet.
A typical day
I live in the south end of San Francisco, which is full of beautiful and dog friendly parks--perfect for long walks! I love hiking and being outside, so active dogs are a lot of fun for me. However, some days lounging around my back yard is just as nice, so older or less active dogs are also a treat!

I am currently free every day of the week except Tuesdays, and having no other obligations makes caring for your pet my top priority. I am able to provide frequent potty breaks, lots of playtime, and long walks!
