I have grown up with dogs my whole life. When I was in sixth grade, my family got a puppy golden retriever and this is when my responsibility for our dogs began. I have cared for up to five large dogs at a time. I have experience playing with, walking, petting, feeding, bathing, and providing medical care for dogs, as well as taking them to the vet in my car. I also have been injured by a dog and have witnessed dog fights and as a result have a heightened care and attention for their communication signals to humans and fellow pets. I truly love dogs and do not see caring for them as work.
