Compassionate Pet Care Provider
Pet care experience
I have worked in animal care for about 15 years including jobs at animal shelters and dog boarding facilities as well as a pet sitter and dog walker. I have extensive knowledge of cat and dog behavior and can work with fearful pets. I am trained as a vet assistant and can administer pills, subcutaneous fluids, and injections. I have immense compassion and empathy for our furry friends and provide top notch care.
Reviews
Mary was great! Very communicative and proactive in letting me know how things were going. My kitties were obviously very well taken care of and content when I got home. Would highly recommend!
Mary has cared for three of my cats over the last decade, or so. She's helped me with everything from basic pet sitting, to assisting with nail trimmings, and administering medication. She is incredibly caring, and at the same time confident in her abilities. I believe, above all else, that she will always focus on what's best for our furry friends. I had cats before I met Mary, but I have become a far better cat-dad by watching how she's interacted with my boys over the years. I would not hesitate, and would feel absolutely at ease, leaving my cat in her care.
Mary has years of experience working and volunteering with animals. Caring, knowledgeable, and level-headed, she is one of the few people I would trust in a heartbeat to take care of my dogs and cats, especially if they needed any kind of at-home medical care.

In addition to taking great care of your fur babies, I am also happy to bring in mail or packages, take the trash/recycling to the curb, water plants and honor any house rules you may have.
Information Mary C. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know your pets favorite toys, daily activities, normal feeding times, tricks that get them to take medicine, and anything else you might think useful. The more info, the better!
A typical day
Daily walks for dogs and wand toy play sessions for cats are a must! I think of dog walking as "dog directed". Do they want to run or stop and smell everything? It's all great and at their pace. Cats thrive with daily play. It can help prevent a lot of behavior issues and helps enrich their lives. Do you think your cat isn't interested? I bet they are! I'll try my all my best tricks.
