I will treat your pet like family. I grew up with black labs and have been taking care of dogs since I could walk. When my friends and family go away I am their first choice for pet sitting. I tackle everything with a smile and will bring positive energy to your pet's day while you are busy. I always take (an excessive amount of) photos if you want to see what we are up to! I have experience with challenging dogs- high anxiety, excitable, strong pullers, etc. My calm but firm approach gives the dogs space to explore but not to misbehave. I'm persistent and don't give up easily (almost to the point of obstinacy haha). I send a lot of great pet photos from our adventures! I often look crazy but it’s worth it

It's always helpful to know any triggers, tricks or vocabulary ahead of time. It's useful to know the words you use with your pet for commands (i.e. "drop it" vs "leave it") as well as what tricks they have- sit, down/lay, stay, etc. That way I can be consistent with the messages you give them :-) If your pet has any special needs or accommodations, please let me know so I can give them the best experience possible!
A typical day
I love to hear what your dog prefers so we have the most fun together but I enjoy dog parks, play dates, walks, runs, fetch, playing inside, training, whatever you (and your pet) prefer! I especially enjoy walking along the water so we might end up on the lakefront.
