Pet care experience
I grew up in a home of animal rescues; we had no less than 10 dogs, 8 cats, birds, fish, bunnies, hamsters, and even pigs and iguanas at any given time. I personally took over taking care of all of them when I was 8 and have been doing so ever since. When I moved to college I volunteered at a shelter; when I moved to my own home I volunteered at a cat rescue and I fostered dogs and cats until I met my soul pup Gator. He’s getting older and isn’t able to take walks like we used to, so I’d love to be able to do that for your pup! I also love hanging out with cats whenever I can.

Mary has cared for my two dogs for several years now. They are always excited to see her. She’s responsible and professional but most of all I know she loves my girls as much as I do. What else could you ask for when having to leave them behind?

I’m familiar with basic dog training and am comfortable with dogs at all stages of training; I’m very adept at giving medicine when needed. I’ve had dogs of every type and size from apple head chihuahuas to Pyrenees/Collie mixes. It would be my pleasure to brush your pet if asked, and I’d love to take them on a brisk walk around your neighborhood.

Let me know if your dog has any medical or special needs; I have experience with older dogs, dogs with physical challenges, and dogs with injuries. I’m happy to work around these things to help the dog have fun and get some energy out.
A typical day
I love playing tug o war and fetch, as well as going on brisk walks around the neighborhood. I’m happy to take them to a local dog park if approved, or just to keep it close to home and play and hang out inside.

Availability
I work full time, but on my days off (typically Mondays and Tuesdays) my schedule is very open! The rest of the week I’d be available after 5-6PM depending on the day.
