ABOUT ME I've been a veterinary assistant in a primary care practice for 8 years and have also cared for horses, fish, otters, penguins (you name it!) in sanctuaries, zoos, and aquariums. I have over 15 years of animal care experience and a deep interest in animal behavior as well as a passion for connecting with animals.
Reviews
Mary Belle is an exceptional pet sitter. She understands dogs and they respond well to her. She is responsible and made sure not only my dog was well cared for, but my house as well. She also send pictures and notes every day.
5 out of 5! Mary Belle was everything we could have hoped for. She is a great person and was excellent across the board with my dog and the house. Would recommend.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mary Belle was a wonderful sitter for our dog. She came over twice before we left; once for a meet and greet, and again to go over instructions for our dog and for the house. She's very lovely and personable. This was the first time we had left our dog overnight due to his separation anxiety. She was very attentive to his needs and sent us daily updates and pictures of how he was doing. He loved her and actually whimpered at the door as she drove away! We would highly recommend her.
Mary Belle did a wonderful job. The dogs absolutely loved her. I would definitely hire her again.

If your pet is recovering from a surgical procedure, illness, or injury, please be sure to let me know so I can ensure your pet receives the appropriate care. A typical day
Besides basic needs like timely feeding, fresh water, and business walks, dogs and cats have social, emotional, cognitive, and sometimes medical needs too! They need to feel safe and loved, cuddled, exercised, and engaged with in order to feel happy and secure while you are away, even if it's just for the day. If your pet enjoys errands, or maybe needs a bit of socialization, I am always happy to have an errand buddy come along with me or as a plus one to a social event. Let me know about any local parks or hikes we can take. Housesitting: we'll have plenty or walks, play time, and cuddles throughout the day. Of course, pets are welcome in the bed for sweet dreams. Special needs will be attended to promptly. I always strive to leave your home better than I found it. Drop-in: I do not charge an additional fee for 60 min Drop-Ins because that is the minimum amount of time I end up spending with your pet, whether it's play time, cuddle time, clean up, or anything else!
