Pet care experience
I have varied experience petsitting and raising my own animals. I was in 4-H as a child and showed goats, rabbits, chickens and dogs. As a teenager, I worked for a small business as a petsitter caring for mostly dogs and cats, as well as a professional Bichon breeder as a handler and groomer. I am comfortable caring for any type of small animal if provided proper instruction. I have completed multiple professional house-sits this year. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs, training young puppies, and handling a lot of energy from your pups!

Mary came to my rescue when I was out of town and took exceptional care of my two kitties! I got a call from the boarding office that said my babies were not eating and advised pickup. I was out of state and asked Mary to help coordinate care. She went out of her way to pick up my babies from the boarder, and settle them in at home ? I got updates and pictures with each visit, I could not be happier with her care!
Mary was an excellent dog and house sitter! She sent pictures of my pup each day and gave me an update. When I returned my place was as clean ad I left it. Can't say enough good things and would definitely recommend to anyone!
Mary was so amazing with my dogs! She went above and beyond making sure they were taken care of exactly how they needed. She was also very patient with Bindi, who is very scared of people when meeting them for the first time. I would definitely trust her to dog sit anytime.
Mary is just so good and sweet with my shepherd/lab mix, Coal. I appreciate how gentle and loving she is. She also is great with commands and keeping him under control when needed. She can dog sit whenever!

I always need to know if the dog has ever had any history of aggression towards strangers or other animals. I want to keep everyone involved safe and I'm happy to go out of my way to make sure your dog stays away from others if that's what is needed to keep them safe. Any allergies or health issues are also important to note.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs just as much as they do! Endless tug of war and fetch are two of my specialties. If your dog has the energy for it, I love to go on trail runs around town, but I'm always happy to take the walk as slow as needed for the older and less agile.

Availability
I work as professional yacht crew and I am taking time off to spend time with family before I start my next permanent job placement in February of 2022! I have a lot of flexibility as I am only working odd jobs at the moment. I only give my availability one month at a time, but I'm open to scheduling further out.
