I am a graduate student and my time after April 26th is completely free! My black Lab, Bailey/sister, has been by my side since I was 12. She just turned 14 on April 19th. She taught me how to be responsible with another life and how bountiful love from furry friends can be. Four years ago, I felt the love for four more paws and brought home my German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix Rosie, who has been the light of my life. I have trained my dogs personally to: sit, stay, lay, come, heel, crawl, and give paw. I have also crate trained both of my dogs. I love going on long walks with my dogs and taking them to the park to play. Also, I understand that dogs have different personalities: for example, Bailey, when she was younger, was very sociable but didn't like other female dogs so I learned how to handle her around female dogs but still socialize her with male dogs. Bailey is more alpha, so I learned to get her to understand her place. Rosie is sociable when she's around dogs that she gets to know no matter the gender. She is shy in the park and tends to play by herself. As I mentioned earlier, my schedule is completely open from April 26th to August 29th. After that my availability will be a bit tighter but I am committed to providing excellent care to your furry friends!
