Experienced, educated and caring.

Pet care experience

I've spent a great deal of my career in the animal industry. My education as a Certified Nutritionist for several species, included canine and feline, and a former Veterinary Hospital Manager, offers me a great deal of insight into animal health and behavior. I have rescued and rehabilitated dozens of animals and also trained both dogs and horses professionally.

I would like to know if the pet is male/female and if spayed or neutered. Additionally, the age, breed, level of training and temperament. Also, what specific needs or areas of concern for the pet.

A typical day

I will set activities based on pets age, training and pet owners requests. I love to walk and incorporate appropriate behavior training while doing so. Purposeful walking activates the brain while exercising, offering a full mind and body workout for the pet. Playing with toys, fetch and other interactive games are great stimuli that will create a calming effect when done. Last but not least, petting and companionship is wanted by ALL pets!

Availability

I am currently working full time outside of the home. I have the availability to care for dogs that have access to the outside (doggie doors, etc.) or who can be crated for extended periods of time and cats. Depending on the location of the home I can leave work for a short period to check on your pets. Additionally, I have reliable transportation to get me where I am needed.
