Pet care experience
I can't wait to meet your fur baby!!! I have been a dog owner for over 12 years (not counting the dogs my family had as a child) and have worked with dogs as both a volunteer and as a dog daycare employee for a number of years. I have a pet first aid certificate and am comfortable around all breeds and sizes. I have 2 dogs of my own - a boxer x french bulldog and a shih tzu x, both are really friendly, playful and well socialised and love to hang out with furriends! My 14 year old son is hoping to be a vet when he's older and is beyond excited to meet your dogs and help out if he can. He loves dogs and has been volunteering as a dog walker for almost 3 years, handling everything from yorkies to pitbulls and german shepherds. We have a pet friendly home, where no place is off limits if you have 4 legs! We are also happy to live in a very dog friendly neighbourhood with dog meet ups twice a day. I also have some experience with basic dog training (sit, stay, shake, come etc) and house training so am more than happy to work with you and your pup to make life easier :)

I was very nervous hiring a walker for the first time, but Mary was everything I was hoping for. Her love of dogs is obvious from the first meeting, and she was patient and kind with our senior dog who can sometimes have a whole lot of attitude. Appreciate she always keeps me updated if there's anything out of the ordinary, and she takes great dog selfies! I highly recommend Mary to anyone in need of help with their pup. Thank you Mary!
Mary was a fantastic sitter! One of our dogs is old and has special needs, while another is a rambunctious puppy; Mary was able to take very good care of both dogs at the same time, and treated them both like they were her own. Both dogs were sad to see her go. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a sitter.
Mary did an excellent job with our dog. While we were away she gave daily reports on everything. She connected very well with our dog which isn’t easy since she is a rescue dog. We will definitely use her again.
Mary and her sons volunteered at the rescue centre that my husband and I run and she was highly competent and reliable with dog walking and fostering, so much so that she took care of my 2 rescues while we were away on holidays which is not something I would let just anyone do!!!! Mary was great with all the dogs in our facility and even brought her own dogs to help socialise some of our smaller rescues with great success. I would highly recommend her as a sitter, walker or cuddler for your dog

I'm not opposed to working with shy dogs or dogs with limited socialisation as long as they are not very reactive or aggressive. My bulloxer has a fondness for frenchies but we love all breeds!
A typical day
I live close to lots of parks, including 2 off leash parks (one open, one enclosed) and also love going to Trout Lake, weather permitting. If your dog love zoomies and playing with toys, they'll fit in great with us ;)
