Pet care experience
I’ve raised and loved two dogs and currently have 2 cats. I'm always the go-to pet sitter for my friends, because I go with the flow and it takes a lot to scare me away! I've seen it all - vomit, poop, barking, “naughty” behavior, biting, jumping up, extreme zoomies, you name it. I understand that your pet (or pets) mean the world to you and each have their own unique personality and requirements, and I am dedicated to taking the time to understand that. I will care for them as if they are my own! I promise to match your dogs energy levels (belly rubs, walks, fetch, etc.) and be zen near your cat (unless they're a wacko like mine, then we can play with toys). Mary Ann was amazing! She was able to navigate a complicated feeding routine for our 4 cats. She gave the kitten, who’s scared of everything, extra time and patience and was able to win him over. She’s very responsive and clearly cares a lot about animals. We will definitely ask her to help out with our cats again in the future!

Mary Ann watched our brand new puppy for 3 nights and 4 days. Our puppy was still potty training so it was not an easy job! Mary Ann was a dream - she sent us photos, exercised Ginny, and helped us keep a stable environment for our new puppy. We loved that Mary Ann made us feel comfortable and guilt free as we took a quick vacay. I would highly recommend Mary Ann, she is knowledgeable, friendly and a great dog sitter!

When I do drop-in visits, I pay close attention to the property to make sure that everything is secured for the animals (make sure the gate latched after entering, make sure doors are closed behind me, etc.). I always crouch down and use a gentle voice to establish trust right off the bat. My first visit I'll mostly just observe and try to get a sense of the animal(s) personality, while making sure they have basic needs like food/water/exercise. I'll go at your animal's pace - if they want to be best friends on day 1, I'm good with that! :-)

Please let me know if your dog has any fears, dislikes, “triggers”, etc. I want to keep them as safe and happy as possible! Also, let me know what makes them the happiest dog alive!
A typical day
I'm game for whatever extra activities your animal likes. I'll prioritize the essentials - food, water, exercise - but I'll pay close attention to what they want and need beyond that! I'm always up for belly scratches, brushing, their favorite toys, fetch, you name it!

Availability
I'm available to do drop-ins any week day between 11am-2pm, and after 5 pm. I'm available anytime on the weekends! I am not able to host animals since I have 2 cats and do not have a fenced in yard.
