As Martina's co-teacher, I've witnessed her patience, kindness, and empathy for children and pets alike. Martina is a detail-oriented and caring caretaker that prioritizes safety and fun. I've watched her work with different students: taking her own time out of the day to play with those who need support in socialization, her patience and firmness with those who may be too rambunctious in the classroom, and how she goes above and beyond to celebrate each and every individual. She has transformed the classroom and school into an unbelievably inviting place, and you will always see students eager to run into the classroom to give her a big hug. She is always on top of it when it comes to communication and working with others. She will always reach out with updates (regular routine updates, advice, questions), is extremely flexible and adjusts to change quickly, and always radiates positive energy. She has met my partner's dog, Simba, and her love for everyone clearly shows! Knowing that someone like Martina is out there, ready to take in any furbaby as her own, has alleviated my anxiety and prompted me to search for my own pup. As I prepare to adopt my own dog, I know that my mind will be at ease when Martina is caring for him. I know she will send tons of updates, will provide routine for him, and will ensure to not only implement any special care I need for my dog (walking schedule, food sensitivities), but to ensure that my pup will receive tons of love. I absolutely cannot wait for Martina to be my pup's best friend, and can assure you that any loved one under Martina's care will be cherished, loved, and will not want to leave Martina!
