I do not recommend Martin. We met with him 2 times before he stayed with our dog at our apartment for 2 weeks. We provided detailed instructions (written and verbal), which he agreed to. Still, Martin neglected our dog on 3 occasions, leaving her alone in our apartment for many more hours than contracted (14 hrs at the longest). We had a visible puppy camera and openly spoke with Martin on the first occurrence of neglect. He promised it would not occur again, but it did 2 more times. Our dog had blood in her stool when we returned from our trip due to stress and neglect, according to the vet. Additionally, Martin fed and walked our dog at odd hours, sometimes after midnight. All pet owners know that animals require a routine and our pup was helpless to relieve herself during the long periods she was left alone. Martin's mistakes made our trip out of the country very stressful. I would not wish this on anyone's pet.

Martin took great care of our cavapoo puppies and our apartment. Everything was as we left it, and the puppies seemed really happy and well taken-care of during our week-long vacation. We really appreciated having Martin house sit!
