During this period, I learned how to care exceptionally well for all types of dogs, from 4-week-old puppies to elderly ones. And I had the pleasure of fostering many doggies for weeks until we found them permanent loving homes. Along the way, I learned how dogs communicate and how to read their body language. And even how to train them quickly and effectively after reading several great books, watching many educational videos, and teaching basic obedience to a handful of puppies. One thing is for sure.
