Dog lover, roll-over teacher
Pet care experience
My family always had at least one dog in the house. I grew up with a variety of dogs; mutt, mini and medium schnauzers, golden doodles, and, my favorite, big maremmas. All dogs were well behaved and trainable. I taught the schnauzers how to roll over when they were ~ 5 years of age. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. I currently have a lot of time on my hands to walk, or house sit your dogs. It would be great to get something local so we can do this routinely. I could exercise your dog with my daily 3 mile run. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own. The status quo is I'll treat your dogs with respect, never give them human food, and teach them basic commands (sit, down, come).
Reviews
Martin is great! Sam is looking forward to the walk everyday!
This was my first time using Martin's dog walking service and I would 100% book him to care for my dog again! He is very good at communicating and responds very fast. He came and met with us for a quick meet and greet before my booking. He walked my dog and took him to the dog park. He was very careful and diligent to not let my cat out the house. I also got alot of pictures and a great report card to put my mind at ease. Thank you Martin!!!
Martin .., thank you from the heart. Missy is so exited to see you we can tell! 🤗
Martin was fantastic with our dog. He was incredibly dependable, on time, and did a great job with our Lab. I would 100% book him again - and will!!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my #1 priority. I will watch over your dog respectfully and ask what actions you are most comfortable with. For example some clients allow me to take their dogs to a dog park or if the dog is very well trained then they allow me to take them off leash to throw the ball with them. This is only done upon owner request
Information Martin C. would like to know about your pet
These questions are to get a better sense of your dog and how to handle him or her. My questions are the following: * How well trained is your dog? * How high energy is your dog? * Does your dog get triggered by anything? * How well does your dog get along with others? * Is it okay to take your dog to the dog park? * What commands does your dog know? * Will the dog tell me when he or she needs to be let out? * Does the dog beg at the dinner table? I never give human food to dogs * When the dog is put in its crate does he/she whine?
A typical day
Running, playing fetch, and going to the dog parks will be my first priority. It will be an honor to exercise your dog. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog!

I am hoping to find a regular client that I can run your dog around Green Lake in the morning or lunch time. If you do hire me I am thankful for the opportunity, my schedule is regularly updated on Rover!
