I try to offer something a little different. As a keen runner, I offer a unique service to provide your dog with real exercise in the green places around Colchester, while being safely secure on a long lead. I grew up around dogs and I've always enjoyed long walks in the countryside with them. I have always made a fuss of my own dogs, and I enjoy playing and exploring with them. However, current circumstances in recent years mean that I cannot have a dog of my own, despite really wanting one. So the opportunity to spend time with dogs via Rover really scratches that itch. I'm afraid that walkies with our family's two guinea pigs just isn't the same! I run 10km+ at least three times a week in the woods to the south of Colchester, currently alone. I would love a flurry buddy to join me, matching my pace to their speed needs (However, I doubt they will slow down for me!). Always happy to meet in a public place to talk about how to best meet the needs of your dog and make things as easy for you as possible. All walks will be tracked and photos of how adventures will be sent. I am available and flexible weekdays 9am-3pm (outside this I look after my own 'puppies' who are home from school). A teacher by training, and now an educational journalist, I work from home, so I'm flexible with the times I can often. A committed environmentalist, vegan and all round animal lover, I will run to and from your location for walking session or drop-In visits, so we all get the added benefit of being good to the planet while being good to your pooch.
