Hi there! My name is Marti and I'm a writer and recent college grad with a deep love for dogs. I currently have a basset hound named Howie and a Shih Tzu named Gracie and they're my favorite little buddies. I'm an avid runner and would love to take your dog for runs, long walks, or just make sure they feel safe and loved while you're away. I just finished writing my first novel and am currently editing, so my hours are flexible and I'd do anything to be outside and away from my my laptop. I'm excellent at snuggles, kisses, pets, and pats, and I think they're all very good dogs. I respect space and understand that some dogs need some time to warm up. All cuddles come with consent.

Marti is a wonderful dog sitter! She caters to the dog's every needs and makes sure they don't feel lonely when their owners are away. She sent me many pictures of her and my dog having a great time together, which really helped sooth my heart as I was missing my pup from afar. I would recommend Marti to anyone who needs a dog sitter!!
Marti is wonderful with dogs and is definitely a dog lover. She has always had dogs in the house growing up and as an adult. It doesn't matter where she is if she spies a dog she will want to pet it, after checking with the owner first. She would be a very loving and kind dog walker.
Marti is great with people, and even better with dogs! She is happiest with a pooch by her side and makes sure the dogs are just as happy, whether on a walk, shopping trip, or just having some quality couch time.

I am smaller, 5'1 around 110 pounds, so larger breeds would need to be harnessed so they don't pull me to the ground.
A typical day
I'll make sure we go places where your dog feels comfortable and safe. I'm excellent at fetch and tug-o-war and snuggles on the couch when the day has been to trying and your doggy needs a cool down. I work full-time with rescue pups (usually 10-20 at a time) so I have experience with anxious and nervous dogs.
