Hello. I am a dog lover and certified trainer. I've had dogs my whole life and currently have 2 standard poodles; both rescues.We are active and walk and/or hike daily. I love to be outdoors but I can accomodate elderly and special needs dogs. I am available to work on some basic training and problem behvaiors for an additional charge.

My approach to training and relationship building is using patience a positive behvaioral approach to both training and developing trust. I have a large yard however it is not yet fenced so my dogs are typically on leads when we are not playing. My house is dog friendly and comfortable. I will provide a clean and sanitary environment for your pet's stay.

As a dog trainer, I am familiar with most breeds. My favorite part of training is teaching basic obedience to new rescues and puppies as well as extinguishing unwanted behaviors.
A typical day
Physical and mental activities are both important do depending upon on the needs of your dog, I will plan accordingly. Walking, running, hiking or teaching your dog a new trick are all in my repertoire. I am familiar with local parks and recreation areas.

I own a small business and work several nights a week from 5-10 pm. I live less than a mile from my business and can pop in and out easily. My dogs and I are out for walks several times a day and they enjoy relaxing and the runof the house when I am at work.
