Loving Care🐱🐶🐰Weekdays!
Pet care experience
I have been a caretaker of pets for over 30 years, sitting dogs, cats and rabbits and more for family, friends and neighbors. I have been here on Rover since 2019 mainly serving Plainsboro, Monmouth Junction, Cranbury and Princeton Junction. I have extensive experience with skittish and elderly cats and oral medication administration. While I have cared for and/or lived with wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, a snake and a tarantula, I have the most experience with cats, dogs and rabbits. I have had three cats of my own who happily lived 13, 14 and 19 years, respectively. I have also been an aunt to many rescued cats and dogs of mixed breeds, plus a puggle, two chihuahuas, and a bull mastiff. Currently, we have a solo 6 year old house rabbit holding court at home, and we all dutifully serve as her subjects. I make it my mission to treat your pets (and your home) as if they were my own with their safety being my #1 priority. While you are away, I make sure your pet feels loved, cared for, happy and secure in their own home. I take lots of photos and send a thorough summary of each visit.
Reviews
Martha is so thorough and thoughtful, and she even ran my cat over to the vet when she noticed some unusual symptoms. She knew all the questions to ask me so I could trust her with my cat's medical care when I was unreachable.
Martha always does an amazing job watching our 3 kitties with lots of updates and pictures. Thank you for all you do!
Martha watched our kitties and they are usually shy but warmed up to her nicely. She sent great messages with amazing photos and details of her visit. I really appreciated her level of communication! I highly recommend Martha!!
Thank you for taking care of the boys!

I require a brief (free) meet and greet prior to finalizing a booking to help ensure your pet and I are a good fit and go over your pet’s individual needs. I also require pets be up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations. Please have a copy of their vaccination records, or a recent bill from the vet with vaccination dates, available for our meet and greet. I am fully vaccinated (and boosted) against Covid-19 and adhere to the latest CDC-recommended safety protocols. During drop-in visits, in accordance with Rover Terms of Service, please note that no one else can be present in the home and on walks, no one other than the sitter is permitted (including the owner) to interact with the dog. At our meet and greets we’ll talk about your cat or dog’s usual schedule, their favorite games, toys, preferred places to walk or play, and develop a customized care plan for each pet. All dogs are leashed while outside, unless there is a fully fenced-in, secure back yard. I use harnesses whenever possible. On walks, I take care to avoid other dogs and people. I do not typically use dog parks because of this reason. Thanks for checking out my profile. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
