Pet care experience
Hi there! I am a longtime carer of all kinds of pets. What initially stemmed from a love for animals at a young age has developed into a professional and considerate understanding for your pet’s needs and best interest. I have many years experience caring for dogs with varying temperaments, including anxious or aggressive pooches. Additionally. I am familiar with the intricate care that comes with fish-keeping and other small pets. I studied some mammal behavior and biology in my undergrad, which has also been helpful to me in caring for pets.

Martha and I have worked together providing dog care services during the summer of 2017 so I have been able to see her work ethic and capacity to interact with dogs firsthand. Furthermore, the relationship Martha has created with her dog is centered around mutual respect, positive communication, and love. She has tremendous experience with dog walking, training, off-leash play groups and overnight care. When Martha has cared for my two dogs (Dachshund mix and Lab mix), I always feel at ease knowing that they are with someone who is treating them the way that I would.

If your pets enjoy car rides or needs to transported somewhere, I have varying sized-crates and doggy seatbelts that attach to their harness or collar if you prefer. If they do visit my home, my yard it fully fenced due to my own dog’s tendency to chase cars.

A typical day
It is equally important for me that your pet has the opportunity to engage in various mental and physical activities! When taking out the dogs, we enjoy trips to the beach and hikes in the mountains. It’s exciting to get outside of the city where they are able to run and play! We do enjoy calm walks to the park and around the neighborhood too. We enjoy routinely playing with toys and working on training. On hot days, it’s always fun to bring out the kiddie pool for the dogs!

I am not currently working outside of Rover and will have plenty of time to dedicate towards playtime, cuddles, and any necessary care with and for your pet!
