Pet care experience
Growing up with pets, I have been a cat and dog owner/lover for over 30 years! It seems I have an ability to bring out even the most fearful timid cats, making friends and securing our times together are enjoyable! I adore dogs and cats, and my own pets are my constant companions! I have helped friends and neighbors for several years while they are out of town. I also have experience with exotic pets who may need care as well. Rest assured your pets will be in excellent hands! Having had pet sitters for many years, I know what pet owners wish for the well care of their fur babies and home!

Martha was great with my 4 fur babies! She was an excellent communicator and always sent pictures. She was very patient with my introverted dog and my extroverted puppy loved her playtime. Would highly recommend Martha and will definitely use her again in the future.

Currently I am not providing services at home as I have two cats who might not appreciate house guests! I enjoy walking in the dog's neighborhood. Having grown up in East Memphis, I am familiar with most of the surrounding neighborhoods.

I am open to all breeds of dogs and cats! I like to know their habits, favorite toys, and anything special the owner would like me to know! If they have anxiety issues I appreciate knowing beforehand so I am able to calm them and reassure them you will be back!
A typical day
Since I come to your house to care for your pets, I would love to take them for a walk in your neighborhood and/or play with them in your backyard! I enjoy playing with cats and know they need exercise too! I am also a meticulous litter scooper like I do for my own two kitties!

Availability
Being self-employed I have plenty of time to love and care for your fur babies! I am flexible being an early riser who is looking for long term and short term care, what might work best for the client! For drop in pet visits, I am happy to bring in the mail, roll garbage cans up and down plus change up lights, and water plants as needed.
