-I do not book new stays without an in-person visit. -High-energy dogs are not a good fit for my home. -Dogs with fears or struggles with stairs are not a good fit either. -My dog is 8. He provides companionship to guest dogs. He has a spinal injury and cannot run or roughhouse with your dog. If your dog needs that kind of interaction, my house is not a good fit. -Food does not get left down in my house. If that’s an issue for your dog, we are not a good fit. If your dog is well-mannered, walks reasonably well on a leash, can self-entertain, and can climb stairs with comfort/ease then I’d love to talk.

Martha was great every step of the way! We felt extremely comfortable and confident with her skills. Her backyard is a paradise and her dog Bear is the sweetest.
As always, Lucca had the best time and we are never worried about her in Martha's care! We are able to enjoy our time knowing Lucca is well loved and taken care of!! We don't know what we would do without Martha and Bear!

I want to know if your dog is dog friendly. I also want to know how playful and calm. I want to know if your dog has any fears. I’m interested in if your dog has any habits to watch out for (countersurfing, trying to ingest toys, resource guarding). I’m curious how well your dog walks on leash. I’m curious about your dog’s sound triggers- for example - do they bark at the mail truck, delivery trucks, etc. I want to know about your dog’s “normal” day including eating amounts/routine, when they potty/how often, how they signal their need to potty, and exercise schedule. Also if your dog is on a restricted diet please let me know.
A typical day
A stay with me includes enjoying walks, play in my fenced yard, nap/cuddle and enjoy meals! I have lots of toys, treats and dog beds.

I work full time from home. I provide potty breaks and walks through out the day. The dogs can be in my work space while I work so that they can be watched. On the occasion I need to run an errand, my mom provides brief supervision support.
