Long time dog fosters
Pet care experience
Both my husband and I have been fostering dogs for over 15 years and after hundreds of dogs ranging from puppies to elderly dogs with special needs, we've had them all! We prefer small dogs under 30# so our older dog (a foster failure) feels comfortable. We both work from home and are very hands on with the dogs we are watching. I'm up early in the morning for let out and feeding and we take many breaks through the day for breaks and play time! We have a large fenced in yard with doggie door access April-Oct. We have an indoor run location for the cold winter months so your doggie still gets play time in and comes home tired! We will follow the rules and schedule you have for your dog so when you return you aren't having to break bad habits.

We have a fully fenced in yard, 3/4 acre so it's a lot of space to run. We have a doggie door that we block off if we are not able to monitor outdoor use. We have baby gates all over to control spaces.

We would need to know of any aggressive behaviors or special needs in advance. It would be nice to know the things they love to help them feel more at home with us. We also need to know if the dog has not been spayed or neutered. We would prefer that all animals be fixed.
A typical day
We have loads of toys at our house, with dog beds in every room! We have a doggie door to an almost acre of fenced in property. We have a wooded neighborhood where we go on walks in private cul-de-sacs with little to no traffic.

Availability
We both work from home, so dogs will be let out hourly. We will follow a schedule that works for your dog if you have one. Otherwise we get up with the dogs when the first one gets up and feeding between 7-8a and 5p. Dogs are our lives and most of the house it's dedicated to dog zones.
