Dog loving mini-goldendoodle mama
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, but got my own sweet and well trained mini-goldendoodle (Quinn) about 4 years ago. I moved from Seattle to West Newton around that time for work (I work for Hearst Television/WCVB) and she has changed my world in the best way possible considering all of my family and friends are still in Seattle. My parents have another mini goldendoodle and they get along so well (when in Seattle or when they visit) , but I’d love to board other dogs so she has others to play with more regularly.

Marta was amazing! She took fantastic care of Ruthie and she was incredibly thoughtful and responsive at all times. She's the best.
Marta was such a wonderful sitter/boarder for our older labradoodle. We had to leave town at the last minute for a funeral, and found Marta on the app. We did a meet and greet the next day and then dropped our dog off for the weekend. She sent us photos every few hours, showing our dog, playing and sleeping, and got constant updates about her eating, and activities. We knew how she was doing the whole time and felt at ease during a stressful time. We hadn’t left our dog with a sitter in many years, but Marta made it all so easy and assuring. Thanks again Marta!

I live on the bottom floor of a condo but have a doggy door, extra crate and a fully fenced private yard. My mini-goldendoodle is very friendly and loves playing with dogs her size (around 15-30 lbs) so she will also be a fantastic companion, alongside me playing with your pup and treating him/her as my own during the time they are with me! Just a side note that my pup does get scared of larger dogs, so I’d prefer to board other pups her size. I can take puppies, but they must be potty trained.

My preference is for non-shedding doodles of all kinds that are smaller than 30 lbs, as my pup is scared of larger dogs. I’m of course willing to take other breeds so long as they are also not larger than that weight range.
A typical day
I work from home on Fridays and Mondays so am available for weekends (or long weekends). When I work from home I typically take my own pup on at least 2 walks per day and encourage her to run in my fenced yard. On weekends I love taking her to the park, on longer walks and hiking (when weather permits of course!)
