A Capital Service for Edinburgh's Canines

Pet care experience

From as young as I can remember I have loved dogs. Growing up, I spent a lot of my time in my Granny's house around her her two: Tossan, a gentle doberman and Asa, an energetic and handsome collie. Being around dogs from a young age has made me feel comfortable and at ease around them. When I was six my parents rescued Barney, an alsatian/collie cross from the Dog and Cat Home. He was simply amazing. I have so many fond memories growing up with him, from all our walks to cuddling him up on the sofa at night. Recently I started my own dog walking and boarding business and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! I began 'King’s K9s' and since September 2016 I have managed to build a great client base of lovely people and absolutely amazing dogs. The dogs I walk regularly range from big greedy Labs (I maybe should stop with the treats!!), the cuddliest Staffordshire bull terrier's, a crazy little Border terrier; who at the age of only one has the courage of a lion! And plenty more(pug, french bulldog, springador). I also have regular boarders who now see my house as their own, I love getting them settled in! I live in a house with my partner and two room mates. The house is very relaxed and dog friendly; any dog I'm lucky to have the pleasure of walking/boarding will have a free roam. I have a van with cages and also cosy duvets so any dog can fit and get cosy. Pick up and drop off I can do, too. There are many places I love walking and loads more I look forward to trying. Simply being around a dog makes me want to get up and go a wander around the local park or somewhere more adventurous (like the beach five minutes from my house or a wee walk along the Water of Leith walkway). In the past three years doing professional dog walking, I’ve just got more and more passionate about dogs. It’s a lovely feeling waking up on a Monday morning raring to go to work. I'm young (25), fit and healthy, and ready to love and care for your dog :)

Max had a great time with Marsha. From the pictures he clearly had a very fun day and come back tired and happy.
