I am still EXCITED! Joined DogVacay May 1, 2016, which has joined with Rover.com, and have already had multiple guests, all of whom were just joyous! Really looking forward to more guests in the future. I love nearly all animals but can't sit for cats right now because my dog might chase them. I've owned dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, gerbils, monkeys, goats, etc., all my life and bred and raised Weimaraners. Worked in vet clinic for about 1-2 yrs as an assistant. Have been through obedience school twice. Certified in pet CPR/First Aid. I'm not a professional groomer but will gladly brush your dog. I have 1 1/2 acres, large securely fenced back yard, so plenty of room to run. My dog and I go for walks every day (we live on a dead-end road, so little traffic); she loves everyone & sleeps in my bed. Your dog would be welcome, too. For now, cannot spend the night away from home. I'm not a professional trainer, but friends I have helped say I'm pretty good (watch the Dog Whisperer all the time and worked as a horse trainer years ago). Since I'm retired, I'm home all day (unless I have to run to the grocery). Though I don't want dogs who are not house-trained, I'm not persnickety about the house. Please bring a copy of latest Vet report showing all vaccinations, heartworm treatment, etc. Would like to meet you and your pet and see if we are a fit. Please contact me through Rover.com.
