Pet care experience

Now accepting new clients in Carolina & Kure Beach! Does your pup need an extra walk while you enjoy your beach vacation? Need someone to feed Fido while catching the sunset, or going to dinner on the island? I’m here to help! I have over 7 years of experience with dogs, including: reactivity training, boarding and daycare, shelter management, in-home overnight petsitting, and dogwalking. My clients have included puppies, senior dogs, dogs with behavioral challenges, and special needs dogs [I am very comfortable administering medication and insulin]. I specialize in working with anxious dogs, high energy running breeds, and multi-pet homes! I will always prioritize a calm mind, body, and space to approach your dog with. Earning their trust comes with a sense of safety that I always aim to give right off the bat. Communication is key! Even from a distance, I'll make sure you and Fido stay connected via updates, photos, and descriptions of our time together.

Marrin was one of the first employees we hired when opening our new doggy daycare in Richmond, Va. It was clear from the moment we sat down to interview Marrin that she was a compassionate and responsible animal lover who always puts the needs of the animals first. Dogs are drawn to her gentle, calm, demeanor and she has an intuitive sense of each dogs spirit. Marrin is very trustworthy and, although she has moved on to further her education, we would take her back in an instant if she ever comes back to Richmond. Hire Marrin to care for your fur baby and you will NOT be disappointed!

Marrin has vast experience caring for dogs. Not only was she trained for and spent time working at the Hanover Humane Society, she also underwent training with the local "To Speak Dog" expert. In her role at Hanover Humane Marrin was interested with the safety and care of over 40 dogs at a time. She understands how to safely walk them on leash and can administer oral medication if necessary. She is very good at understanding normal behavior for dogs and can watch for anything unusual in their behavior. Marrin was also instrumental in the opening of Tobytown, a doggie daycare. Here she learned to facilitate play groups with dogs, fed and walked, exercised and bathed countless numbers of precious pups. Pups. She understands the need for exercise and training, as well as scheduled feeding for dogs to maintain a healthy routine. In addition to all of her experience and training, Marrin is passionate about dogs. I think her soul is part canine. Anyone would be lucky to have her caring for their beloved pets.

Marrin creates a bond with every dog I've seen her work with. When she pet-sits, she always goes above and beyond- We come home to tired out & happy dogs, plus a clean & tidy house!
