First, I want to state that I will do whatever I can to make your pet the happiest and safest little furbaby while in my care. I will also do whatever I can to provide you with a feeling of relief that your baby is in trusting hands. Besides for petsitting on and off my whole life, in the past year I worked at a doggy daycare and an animal hospital. At the daycare I learned a lot about dog behavior and positive reinforcement training. I cared for puppies all the way to seniors. I helped feed, monitor play, look after boarders, etc. We were voted best doggy daycare in Las Vegas! (Just recently moved back to CT) At the animal hospital I was working as a veterinary assistant. I learned a lot about the medical side of cats and dogs. I learned about CPR, first aid, safety in handling cats and dogs, vaccine administration, monitoring hospitalized pets, medication administration, and assisting in surgeries. We were a high volume hospital that took regular visits, emergencies, and monitored critical care patients. I have experience working with cats and dogs. I've worked with spicy kitties, special needs pets, seizure prone pets, seniors, puppies, I can administer oral topical and injectable medications. I also have experience with special diets. I recently moved back to my hometown in Connecticut from Las Vegas and want to continue my career in animal care here which is why I am on Rover.
