I worked as a cat adoption counselor for PAWS shelter for the last 10 years, I was a volunteer for a year and a half before that. I have also volunteered at the Austin Zoo and the wildlife rescue in Kendalia. I am very comfortable giving medications including shots. I also know animal cpr.

I met Marlo through my neighbourhood on-line page. She came to my home to meet me & my dogs. I felt comfortable with her & I observed her interacting with my dogs & was reassured (& I lived her as did they) Marlo is very dependable -which I need & when not available has communicated well with me & had her niece step in. I received pictures & my dogs not uneasy with her. I have cameras & have noted she’s timely & spends the time I had asked for -20-30 minutes. I have had some difficulty finding dependable dog sitters & find a good one & they move. Grateful for Marlo ! Shaun B.
Marlo has been caring for my fur babies for more than 5 years! I am out of town at least one weekend per month, often more. Marlo provides love and care, and consistency. She is friendly, and truly cares about my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She goes above and beyond to ensure that their needs are met. Marlo is entirely trustworthy and a true care partner.
Since early 2017, Marlo has taken care of our 14 year old cat. As he’s aged, he’s had a lot of changes in diet, supplements, and medications but she has always taken care of whatever he needs to keep him a healthy and happy cat. Marlo loves animals and whenever we return home, whether from a long weekend or a three week vacation, it’s obvious he received the kind of care and attention we had hoped to find in a caregiver for our pet.
Marlo is the best pet sitter our family has ever had. She is dependable, caring and loves and cares for our animals like her own. You will not be disappointed by choosing her as you pet sitter!

I always like to meet the dogs ahead of time so the owner can tell me their likes and dislikes. I like to know what their regular routine is like, whether they like other animals or if they have possessive tendencies.
A typical day
I will be new to the area so will have to find places but usually what the dog already prefers. I always check to see whatever their favorite things to do are.
