After having had 2 dogs 24/7 with me, I could not have another dog. Experiencing the loss again would simply break my heart. Now, years later, my children love dogs and they love to meet different dogs every time. We usually do dogsitting for 3-21 days, so we can really bond with the dog, hoping they will return. We plan the day around doggy walks and make sure the dog is comfortable. Years of experience and love for dogs are our keywords. We often go on long walks to the park or to the forest. Every year we prefer some 5 - 7 times to have a dog in the house. Dog walks we really love, as walking in nature is such an energizer. The children do learn a lot when we are caring for a dog.
