I’ve had animals my whole life and have experience working at a dog training/daycare facility interacting with hundreds of dogs each week. Personally, I puppy raised a standard poodle for a service dog organization where I taught her everything from basic obedience and house manners up to more advanced mobility tasks. Most recently, I got a shepherd who I compete in a variety of sports with. I am very comfortable with larger higher drive/energy dogs. I am able to care for both puppies and senior dogs. With instructions I am also able to give medications if needed. From my time at a dog training facility, I have extensive experience working with dogs who have various forms of behavioral concerns (resource guarding, dog reactivity, aggression, etc). Through this and supervising dogs during play, I have been trained in dog body language and how to handle these dogs in a way that is safe for all parties. This means I am happy work with dogs who may have some behavioral concerns, are high drive, or are in currently in training and need more structure in walks/visits.
