Pet care experience
I have a ton of experience in caring for animals (from dogs and cats to horses and squirrels). In addition to growing up with rescue animals (mostly cats and dogs), I have also volunteered in animals shelters for over four years and have been caring for animals in a semi-professional way for the past seven. This has given me the confidence to work with all types of breeds, ages, and energy levels. Marley did a great job watching my old, blind dog that needs various medications. She sent me lots of pictures and texts and kept the house in good shape. I'd would definitely hire Marley again.
Marley was a fantastic dog sitter for our new foster dog, Bella! She sent regular updates with pictures and left a summary of her stay. Bella is a little shy since she is still getting used to being a pet, but she warmed up to Marley right away. It’s important for me to know your animals energy level, reactivity levels, as well as their daily routine. I try to keep them on the same routine they have with you as much as possible, to provide that structure for them. I always request to meet your animals before agreeing to sit or walk and generally prefer a trial run without you there to see how they react to me on my own before we have agreed to anything.
A typical day
Whatever your dog needs, count me in. I am a huge fan of taking dogs out for adventures, such as hiking. Or we can keep it to basic walks through the neighborhood. Just let me know what you want/need from me!

Availability
I work four days a week with a light load, generally working from 7:30-2:30 or 10:30-4:30 which leaves plenty of time to love on and care for your animals.
