Dog Walking - in the Lake Geneva area - Fontana, Williams Bay, Lake Geneva, Walworth AVAILABILITY: Primarily weekends or Fridays through the weekend. I will walk dogs during the week if the booking meshes with my work schedule. So, please reach out to me if you have questions. TWO DOGS: YES - If the owner has two dogs, I will walk both of them. EXPERIENCE: I have extensive experience handling dogs (40 years) and caring for them in a positive and nurturing way. Many of my family members were vets, and I spent my summers with all kinds of animals. I started my dog walking business as a young adult, and it has continued through my adult life. PROFESSION: I am a licensed social worker working in a regional mental health clinic. I have my Masters in Social Work. MISSION STATEMENT: Consistent, gentle, and loving care, and a redirection to a positive activity when a dog strays from "good puppy behavior." RATES - $20 per 30 minutes of care - walking, feeding, let-outs. WALKS - I tailor the walks based on the fitness, age, and condition of the dog, with prior feedback from the owner(s). MEET-N-GREETS (no charge) are always preferable for first-time dog walking so I can get acquainted with your pet and your pet "gets my scent;" but they are not mandatory. There are circumstances when these cannot occur due to last-minute scheduling. MEDICATIONS - I have administered IV, regular prescriptions, ointments, and other routine daily injections for diabetes and other illnesses. NON SMOKER REQUIREMENTS FOR A DOG WALKER: Must Love Dogs (and cats)- I do! I am a doggy parent to a Rough Collie (a Lassie dog) and a kitty.
