I take the best care possible of my own dogs. My first dog lived to be 16, my second one lived to be 16, and my current dog is a month shy of being 14! I believe dogs should be fed properly and trained to do basic commands. Of course playtime is also very important for the health and mental stimulation of a dog. Playing also helps them to sleep better at night and to have a better personality.
