Pet care experience
We're owners of a crazy friendly and energetic lab, who loves play dates. We take our dog to nearby trails daily and occasionally out for a run. We've used rover.com for our dog numerous times and have enjoyed sitting for and walking others pups. We both have fairly flexible work schedules so usually someone is home. I was nervous about finding a new dog walker after our previous walker of over a year told me she was moving. But Marlene quickly put those nerves to ease! Her friendly and positive personality coupled with her flexibility and enthusiasm made it quite clear she was the right choice for us. She’s very comfortable with my dog Buster and sent me a text and picture when she walked him. She’s trustworthy and capable and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
I am so happy to have found Marlene and I'm very sure that my girl Rossi is happy as well! My pup suffers from seperation anxiety during storms and decided the best remedy was to search for day care while I'm at work. Marlene's kindness and attention made me feel very comfortable and stress free....it was our first try and not disappointed whatsover that Marlene is a keeper! ? and thank you for giving Rossi, Shrimp her new playmate, a beautiful black Lab!!
Very attentive to my requests and preferences. She was able to handle his strength well and my dog loved her.
Marlene is my friend and neighbor , and we initially bonded over our two puppies that are only a few weeks apart in age . We often get our pups together for walks or “puppy play dates “. She is responsible, trustworthy and takes excellent care of her dog. Marlene goes above and beyond to care for her pets and she will do the same for others .

We have a HUGE unfenced backyard, pond, and trails on our property. Our dog loves dogs of all sizes as well as all the animals that visit our land, including turkeys and deer. :)

A typical day
There's a 6 mile trail system near our home that we visit almost daily but we also have trails on our property. Our pup likes to play fetch in our yard or just chase us around.

Availability
We both have fairly flexible work schedules so usually one of us is home. We wake up early and tend to go out for a long walk as the sun rises and then again at sunset. We can accommodate your pup's walking, feeding, and potty break needs!
