Pet care experience
I’ve owned all types of pets all of my life and have lots of experience caring for them. I am a current medical provider that loves having furry companions, but am first aid and CPR certified. I have experience walking, drop in visits, house sitting, and in home sitting. I love all types of animals and will treat them as my own. I am newer to rover, but have pet sit for friends and family throughout the years. I have a two year old golden retriever that loves having a play mate and I have raised and trained on my own. We both are hoping to care for a furry friend! I know how scary it can be to leave your loved one with someone else, but I will be sure to make you and your fur baby feel comfortable by sending you plenty of updates and photos!

Marlena was so sweet and took amazing care of our pup, Lucy. We came in for the day from Houston and didn’t want to leave our pup at the hotel alone. Marlena was super flexible, responsive and great at sending day-of photos and updates. Lucy had the best time and will definitely want to play with her new bestie, Marlena’s pup, Nala, when we come back to Waco in the future!
Marlena was such a blessing! I’ve only had my kitty for a month and I was traveling for Thanksgiving. It would have been too long to leave him and I booked Marlena at the last minute. LB warmed right up to her and I received daily updates and photos. She took much better care of him in my absence than my anti-cat friends would have and I can’t wait to use Marlena in the future when I travel!
Marlena is excellent! She is very reliable and goes above and beyond to make sure my pups are well cared for. She provides excellent pupdates and photos. She responds very timely to booking requests and she even helped me out for a drop in on very short notice when I was in a pinch. She is very trustworthy! We are so lucky to have her! Would highly recommend her to anyone.
Marlena is absolutely amazing. From the meet and greet I knew that she was going to be perfect for my three pups. My dogs ages are 9mos, 7yrs, and approx 10yrs. She was great with all of them and I can tell they were happy and loved her too. She sent me lots of great photos of my dogs having fun with her and her dog so I had no worries at all about them while I was gone. I can't recommend her enough and I will 100% use Marlena's (and Nala's) services again for my miniature zoo. To say I am happy would be an understatement.
