Pet care experience
I've had animals in my life forever & not just in my home & family. I also have in essence become a bonus care-giver to all my friend's pets too, LOL. I have been a pet-sitter for everyone I know for my entire life. I have a natural ability to connect with any animal I meet. I am a cat lady, but also a huge dog lover. I also have experience caring for exotics like chameleons, & birds. I am very patient & have experience administering medication like insulin shots for diabetic animals responsibly. I love going on adventure walks as I am a huge outdoors person & with cats I just adore hanging out with them so they also feel like they are being stimulated & cared for when you're away. I actually walk one of mine on a harness so I'm open to cat walks too <3. I will want to work with you to understand your dog or cat's behaviour if there are specific behavioural sensitivities or physical disabilities so that you don't have to worry about them. I also take wonderful animal photos, it's a natural talent. I'll take photos of your friend with the updates I provide & will also offer a side-service of printing some for you if there's any pictures you fall in love with! <3

Marlena went above and beyond while she was dropping into our home to feed our cat, Sammy. She played with him, made sure his area was clean and was quick to reply to my texts. She is amazing!
I don't have a Rover but I do have a few kitties. Whenever I go away she is the first person I call, she spends time and gives lots of love to my furbabies. I would not trust just anyone with me pets. I am also aware that she volunteers on a regular basis at a wildlife rescue.
Marlena is one of the few people I trust in the world to watch over my fur babies. She pays close attention to not only their physical well being, but also to their psychological well being and happiness as well. Having known her for over 15 years, she continues to be active in animal welfare and rights, and she is able to form strong bonds with animals of every species. I would recommend her to anyone who is worried about leaving their animals for short or long periods of time. She will provide peace of mind and your pet will be well looked after, safe and happy until your return.
Marlena has taken care of our two cats on several occasions. One of our cats is highly anti social and very skittish and he warmed up to her no problem! He doesn’t like many people :) she will give your fur babies the care and attention they need while your away. She plays, cuddles and talks to them which they love. Highly recommend!!
