My first dog came into my life in 2002. I became immediately hooked on dog shows and have never looked back. Now my whole life is dogs! I have been involved in various facets of the dog world, including volunteering as a trainer for a local 4H club, handling shows dogs on weekends, and professionally grooming dogs. I have worked with a wide variety of dogs. From 3 pound Chihuahuas to 140 pound Alaskan Malamutes, I love all of them! As a walker/ sitter, I bring to the table extensive knowledge of dog behavior coupled with a genuine desire to bond with my client dogs. I will apply my diverse skills and knowledge to become your dog's friend while giving him/her a fun, safe time while in my care.

Boy oh boy did I have a happy dog when I came home! Moose was grinning ear to ear tonight so I know he had a great walk with Marlena!

Marlena was absolutely wonderful to work with. She let me know every day during my absence when she came to pick up my dog ( 2 times a day) and send me cute pictures with miles walked and route walked. I so appreciated that as I was so many miles away from my fur baby knowing that the got the exercise and attention at the exact times I had requested her. She also spend a great amount of time training him as he has some issues with other dogs when approached on leash and she has even offered to take a walk together next week to teach me some of those techniques. Marlena is a professional dog handler and shows dogs and her genuine care and love for dogs is huge. We are so happy we found her and will certainly book with her again in the near future.
I grew up with Marlena in dog 4-H and she was always one of the most knowledgeable and successful dog trainers, handlers, and caregivers. She's an amazing dog handler in AKC shows and has taken exceptional care of both of my family's huskies over the years as well as her own pets. She's one of my husky Kenai's favorite people for a good reason, even after she grooms him, and I can attest that her Australian Cattle Dog is one of the most well cared for dogs I know.
