Pet care experience
I have had dogs (among other pets) almost my whole life- having up to three at a time, so my dog managing ability has been well tested. Since I started college in 2018, I have pet sat numerous animals both through Rover and for family and friends.

Marlena took good care of my elderly beagle. She was responsible and good at communicating when needed. Being elderly, he has some special needs and can be challenging at times. Marlena was up to the task!
Marlena did a great job taking care of our house and 2 pups while we were away. The girls loved her :)
Amazing! Our pup was so happy when we got home and we could tell that he had been well cared for while we were away. Marlena was willing to hang out a bit longer when we learned that our flight home would be significantly delayed. We would definitely utilize her again in the future!
Marlena did a great job of caring for our pets during her 2 drop in visits while we were away for the day. She was on time, thorough, & communicative. The house was perfect when we returned & everyone was happy. I’d recommend Marlena & would gladly use her again. Thank you!

I would appreciate knowing any negative habits, such as chewing, urinating indoors, or running away. Additionally, it would be helpful to know any tricks you use to help mitigate these behaviors. If your pet has any dietary or medicinal needs, that would also be helpful to know in advance.
A typical day
Play time is usually a big part of my visit, and it is usually catered toward’s your pets preferences. Any activity that allows some nice outdoors time and a good night’s sleep is ideal!

I am a climate scientist, and have a generally flexible schedule. Besides occasional meetings or time-consuming experiments, I can come and go as I please, so I will be able to put all my attention into your fur babies!
