I have grown up around animals my entire life, so I have first-hand gotten to see what care is needed for each type of animal.

I do not own any pets, so my focus will solely be on the pet(s) that I will be caring for day-to-day. I do not have a fenced in area to let the pet(s) roam as they wish, but I do enjoy taking them for walks around campus or through my neighborhood. I do prefer to have the animal on a leash for safety concerns unless there is a fenced in area that we may visit. For any visits, I like to keep things as normal as possible. If any of the above do not fit your needs, please give me more information on what you would like to be included and I would gladly accommodate those needs.

I like to know if the dog is friendly with other dogs just in case of an interaction. Any day-to-day tendencies that they have would also be helpful in knowing when caring for them. For visits, I would rather a detailed list be given of what needs to be done during the visit, as well as if they are on any kind of medication. Clarification on their medicine is very important for me.
A typical day
I have found that most of the dogs I’ve cared for enjoy going to some kind of fenced in area to be off leash. Most of them have shown more interest in playing with a toy in the fenced in area rather than just walking for a certain amount of time. During walks, I try to keep the dogs away from other dogs passing by just to refrain from anything unexpected happening.

I am currently in nursing school while playing softball, which takes up a lot of my time, but my schedule in the summer/fall is very open.
