Hello! I have been a vet assistant for over eight years. I have handled and been around 100s if not 1000s of animals during my career, not including the 20+ years of care I have provided to my own personal pets. I have experience with dogs (large and small), cats, horses, and basic fish care. My background makes me very comfortable with breeds and personalities of all kinds, as well as medicating and giving injections to pets that need them. While I am not able to give medical advice or diagnose medical conditions, due to my experience as a vet assistant, I may be able to spot developing problems with your pet while you are away. I am also particularly fond of senior pets! Currently, I own two dogs, both of which were rescued from vet clinics I have worked for. Besides dogs, I also grew up with cats and horses (specifically OTTBs), and although I don't currently have either, I am hoping that will soon change! My husband and I also have a 30 gallon fresh water tank and will soon be getting chickens. I am familiar and experienced with the delicate nature of government, TS clearance, and LE families. Please feel confident knowing that I will respect your privacy. As a pet owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to go out-of-town for any extended period of time.
