Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Marlana! I decided to start Rover because I’ve had such a positive experience caring for friends and family members pups. I personally know how difficult it can be to find a trusted walker/ sitter to care for your pet, and I want to extend the service because I treat all pets as if they are my own. I’ve grown up taking care of my family dogs and genuinely love the company of animals. Home doesn’t feel like home without them. I have an Aussie mountain doodle of my own, Stetson, who is 1yr old. He loves the company of other dogs and plays very well with all breeds. With Stetson, I have recent high energy puppy experience and very familiar with how to handle the ups and downs of puppy life. I’m also able to care for older pets that require less activity, whatever makes your pet happy and comfortable. I am happy to do meet and greets beforehand- can’t wait to meet you and your pet! You can expect lots of updates and plenty of photos.

We were away for a week visiting family and needed someone we could trust for twice a day drop in visits with our sometimes reserved Glen of Imaal terrier not use to being away from us. This is the first time we used River.com and feel fortunate to have found Marlana. She was outstanding---responsible, dependable, committed and a true dog lover. She quickly bonded with Quinnie; understanding Quinnie's quirks and making sure she got plenty of belly rubs and treats. We will certainly count on Marlana for our future dog sitting needs; caring for Quinnie as if she were her own.
Marlana is a responsible, loving pet owner and sitter and really treats all animals like her own! She enjoys taking care of our puppy and he has a blast every time he’s with her.

Me and my fiancé are child- free. I keep everything tidy so nothing dangerous is within reach for a dog. We have plenty of space in our 2 bedroom apartment, grass area & dog park outside the apartment building! Plenty of room for activities. All of our furniture is also pet friendly. We also live right next to 2 vets in case of emergencies.

A typical day
A typical day is a long walk on the rail trail and lots of outdoor time on sunny days in the dog park. I have a very active dog and he loves the company of others.
