Pet care experience
I am a 67 year old retired woman. I have been a animal lover my entire life (dogs, cats, and birds) all of whom were an integral part of raising my family. Animals have always been my second love ( first are my two boys😊) and I am excited to meet your fur baby. I only take care of one doggie at a time but will consider more if from the same family. I currently have no other pets. My last two dogs were a Rottweiler and a Shih Tzu. My own Shih Tzu Butch, lived to be 14 years old and was hard of hearing and struggled with poor eye sight. My heart broke when he passed. Additionally I cared for my parent's aging Shih Tzu and on occasion my sister’s Labrador, both requiring a strict oral medication regime. I will consider short notice stays...

I had an opportunity to attend a play on short notice in San Francisco recently and needed to find care for my dog overnight. Marla was such a lucky find. She contacted me quickly and we were able to speak on the phone. I could tell right away from our conversation that she was a kind person and I that I would feel comfortable leaving my little buddy with her. She took excellent care of my little companion and communicated with me during his stay on how he was doing. I am so glad to have found Marla and she will be my first choice next time I need care for my little pooch.
Marla was so kind and wonderful to our dog Scout! They played together, went on walks, went on car rides (Scout's favorite activities) and cuddled at home. It was so comforting to know that Scout was being so well taken care of. Scout is a rescue and sometimes takes a bit to warm up to new people, but she was immediately trusting towards Marla. We will definitely be booking her again!!!

Your doggie will join me wherever he or she is comfortable; on the couch, on their cozy dog bed, or sleep with me at night. I will not take them in my car when it is hot but will never leave them alone at home for longer than a quick errand. Pee breaks and walks are offered based on your instructions and your pups’ needs. I will consider more than one pup at a time if they are in the same family.

A typical day
I live in a beautiful park like setting. If your doggy drinks coffee I’ll be glad to make him or her a cup in the morning when we wake up. After a quick potty break we will have breakfast then take on the day filled with snuggle time and walks in the shade or sunshine based on the days’ weather.

I live in one story 1,300 square foot home in a park like setting with ample dog walking opportunities in a safe, quiet neighborhood. I am retired and will devote my days to spoiling your little family member.
